Description

1.What Canifug is

Canifug contains the active substance k.lotrimazole. it is used to treat fungal infections on the skin, on the feet, in the skin folds. for the treatment of Pitriasis Versicolor infections and for the treatment of superficial skin infections with yeasts of the genus Candida

2.What you need to know before you use Canifug

DO NOT USE HEALTHY VILLA CANIFUG  
 
• If you are allergic (hypersensitive) to clotrimazole or  
any other ingredient of the medicine.  
TAKE SPECIAL CARE WHEN USING CANIFUG  
 
• When using Canifug, make sure that it does not come  
in contact with mucous membranes or in eyes. It is not suitable for the treatment of fungal infections of the genitals (candidal vaginitis or balanitis)  
 
USE OF OTHER MEDICINES  
The active substance clotrimazole reduces the effectiveness of  
certain drugs for the treatment of fungal infections (amphotericin. nystatin, natamycin).  
 
Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking or have recently taken any other medicines, including medicines obtained without a prescription.  
 
PREGNANCY AND BREAST-FEEDING  
Ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking any medicine.  
Caution should be exercised when prescribing to pregnant women, as it should not be used in early pregnancy (the first three months). whereas there is a possibility of an increased likelihood of miscarriage in pregnant women who have used clotrimazole-containing medicines vaginally.  
To prevent the baby from taking low doses of the active substance during breastfeeding. Canifug should not be used in breast-feeding while breast-feeding.  
 
IMPACT ON THE ABILITY TO DRIVE VEHICLES AND MACHINERY  
Canifug does not affect your ability to drive or use machines.  
 
IMPORTANT INFORMATION ON CERTAIN INGREDIENTS OF THE MEDICINAL PRODUCT  
Canifug contains propylene glycol. May cause skin irritation. for immediate use. Spray the product on the affected areas of the skin and rub it gently with your fingers. Spray Canifug on the skin from a distance of 10-30 cm.  

3. Duration of treatment

Regular use over a sufficiently long period of time is important for successful treatment. The onset of action is shown in 2 to 3 days, and the active ingredient acts on the skin for 2 hours. The duration of treatment depends on the extent and location of the infection. For complete recovery It is necessary to continue treatment even when the signs of infection disappear. Treatment should last at least 4 weeks.  
Pytriasis versicolor usually heals in 1 – 3 weeks. In the case of fungal diseases of the feet, despite the rapid subjective improvement, it is necessary to continue treatment for at least 2 weeks after all the external signs of infection have disappeared. This prevents the recurrence of symptoms. Above all, be sure to dry the areas between the toes thoroughly after each foot wash.  
 
If you use more Canifug than you should? 
Just one extra dose is not a cause for concern. If you accidentally take too much medicine, tell your doctor immediately.
 
If you forget to use Canifug? 
There is no reason to worry, but use the medicine as soon as you remember. Do not use a double dose. if you forget to take the previous dose.  

4. If you stop using Canifug? 

Finish the entire treatment. Although symptoms resolve, the infection may still be present and may recur if you stop treatment too soon.

Very rare side effects  
Allergic reactions occur in patients who are allergic (hypersensitive) to clotrimazole or any of the other ingredients of Canifug.  
 
Uncommon side effects  
Some patients may experience burning and irritation of the skin at the site of application after application.  
If the burning sensation, skin irritation, or rash is severe, talk to your doctor and stop taking the medicine immediately if you experience a rash.  
If any side effects become serious, or if you notice any side effects. not mentioned in this leaflet, tell your doctor or pharmacist.  

5. How to store Canifug

Store below 25 ° C.  
Keep out of the reach and sight of children. 
Do not use Canifug after the expiry date which is stated on the carton after EXP. The expiry date refers to the last day of that month.  
Medicines should not be disposed of via wastewater or household waste. Talk to your pharmacist about how to dispose of medicines no longer required. Such measures help to protect the environment.
